ESCONDIDO JAMAICA JOE THE COACH'S JOURNEY
|
In the style of the classic film KEY LARGO, ESCONDIDO main action takes place in a remote isolated, run down bed and breakfast size hotel in the thick Mexican countryside during a killer tropical storm. A German banker who has embezzled money from his South American bank is en-route to the United States with his new steamy Brazilian wife and sexy teenage daughter. The two woman are in constant rivalry for his attention. Neither knows he has a satchel full of money and is secretly fleeing the country. Coming from another direction and seeking refuge from the authorities is a notorious gang of mercenaries also running from the soldiers after a botched effort at trying to assassinate the local Cardinal as retribution from the drug Cartel. The hotel is in the off-season and has been abandoned by everyone except the old caretaker who is waiting for someone to repair their well and fresh water supply. Unknown to all, the repairman is an ex-patriot CIA operative living in hiding trying to escape his terrible past. Although totally unrelated to each other, all the character’s lives will coincide in a bizarre twist of fate that will alter their lives forever.
