LOVE NEVER DIES |
The Havana Heat TV Series is a 22 episode action adventure series based on the film “Havana Heat”. The production will be Canada-Colombia Co-Production to be produced in Vancouver and Colombia Our hero, secret agent SEAN FRANKLIN (early 30’s) finds himself in Havana after several of his ex-partners are murdered in Barcelona and London. The Havana agent is DAVID PRESCOTT and, wounded in the attack, he is desperate for Sean to help him before the killers return to finish him off. Sean had sworn after the murder of his wife three years ago that he would never again work for the I.S.A. (International Security Agency). He blamed himself and the Agency for her death and had become a recluse on an uncharted Caribbean island. Now Sean cannot turn his back on his old friend and agrees to work for the I.S.A. one more time. His partner is the gung ho BRE_DA EVA_S (mid 20’s). Brenda is fresh from the academy and although she graduated at the top of her class she didn’t make many friends. She is all business – as deadly as she is beautiful. Rounding out Sean and Brenda’s team are: Cuban beauty RACHEL RAMIREZ (mid 20’s). Rachel owns the local hot spot Mojito Club. It’s used as a meeting place for the team as well as the foxy young Cubans who go there to dance
to live salsa bands. Rachel is a trained agent but her most important asset is being inside the Cuban “scene”. Ex-supermodel NICOLE SCHIFFER (30) runs The Havana Production Studio. The studio serves as a front for the I.S.A. field office and Nicole is an expert at using its state of the art equipment for intelligence gathering and creating false documents. JOSE AGUILERA (30’s), a Havana police detective, is Sean and Brenda’s main man. When the team needs anything at the Cuban level from police support to government cooperation the darkly handsome, enigmatic Jose makes it happen. He is also not averse to helping them with old-fashioned police work. Sean and Brenda are settling into the case when an emergency comes up. RUBEN PALACE (20’s), a handsome Afro-American heavyweight boxer is in Havana to take on the Cuban national champ wakes up after a night of partying at the Mojito Club to find himself in bed with a dead girl. JIM CURRIE, the U.S. Interests Section envoy enlists I.S.A.’s help. The dead girl is an American exchange student and with the heavyweight fight less than 48 hours away, Cuban- American relations could blow sky high.
