Having worked actively in the motion picture industry for over 30 years, Michael Baron offers valuable knowledge and experience-based insight into the entertainment business. Mr. Baron has been a well-respected member of the SAG since 1978 and of the DGA since 1997, and has had an extensive history developing, producing, directing, and performing in major motion pictures. His credits include Air Force One, the Scarlet Letter, Choppertown 1 and 2, and the Indiana Jones series, in addition to several other recognizable projects. Past collaboration with prominent individuals like Harrison Ford, Gary Oldman, Demi Moore, and Robert Duval has given Mr. Baron the opportunity to make executive decisions while working closely with One World Studios, Fox Television, and Paramount Studios.
Mr. Baron facilitates communication with an ease that may be due to his family roots in the entertainment industry. He is proud to be the great nephew of Sophie Tucker, one of the first women in vaudeville. Mr. Baron’s father has also been highly successful in the industry – in 1973, Irwin Baron founded Wee-Too, an advertising specialty company, and in 1998 elected his son to act as CEO of the company. Wee-Too is directly responsible for many logos, some of which include Hang Ten, the Cabbage Patch brand and Bobcap Industries.
In addition to his efforts in the motion picture industry, Mr. Baron has been overseeing the development and production of fire resistant gloves since 2000, and has since assumed the role of president of Cool Hand Entertainment, LLC, located in Malibu, CA. Mr. Baron has held the title of president of N.M.C. Productions since its birth in 2007, and is the present CEO of Final Word Films, LLC.
